Technip was awarded by Statoil an engineering, procurement, construction and installation lump-sum contract for the Norne field development, located in the Norwegian Sea at a water depth of approximately 380 meters.
Statoil, with its partners Eni and Petoro, has started production from the Skuld field at Norne in the Norwegian Sea. Skuld is so far the quickest realised of Statoil's 12 fast-track development projects, measured from discovery to production.
Statoil and its partners have submitted a plan for development and operation (PDO) of the Skuld field on the Halten Bank to the authorities.
Subsea 7 S.A. announced today the award of the Fossekall-Dompap Marine Installation and Pipelay Contract with an approximate value of $180 million from Statoil, close to the Norne FPSO in the Norwegian Sea.
